Will the Elements leak in my bag?
The Flip-Lock Sip lid is designed to seal when it's locked closed and fully tightened. Before you toss it in a bag, make sure the flip is locked shut and the lid is screwed down all the way. If the lid starts to feel stiff going on, the silicone seal may be dry — a thin layer of cooking oil on the seal helps it screw on smoothly and seat fully. Can I use the lid with hot drinks?
Yes. The lid is made from BPA-free Tritan and works with coffee and tea. Hot drinks build up a little steam pressure, so leave some room at the top, open the lid slowly and point it away from your face. The Elements keeps drinks hot for up to 5 hours.

Why doesn't my coffee taste like metal?
